ETTO’s Skin Recovery Gel combines Australian Tea Tree Oil, a potent natural bioactive traditionally used to support skin, with Organic Aloe Vera juice, rich in antioxidants, amino acids, & vitamins, to replenish & cool sensitive and dehydrated skin.

Accompanied with organic Aloe Vera leaf juice (we don’t use the powder) known for its soothing and hydrating properties to help maintain skin’s moisture balance and comfort.

What makes this Recovery Gel different from other aloe vera gels?

Most aloe gels on the market are made from reconstituted aloe powder, which is heavily processed and often requires added preservatives. ETTO’s Skin Recovery Gel is made with real, certified organic Aloe Vera leaf juice, not powder. Using fresh juice means more of aloe’s naturally occurring vitamins, amino acids and antioxidants remain intact, helping to deliver superior cooling, hydration and skin comfort when the skin needs it most. Our Skin recovery gel is not diluted with water like many aloe gels, so you get the full benefits of aloe vera.

What does Tea Tree Oil do in a post-sun or recovery gel?

ETTO’s high-grade Australian, steam extracted Tea Tree oil is included to support skin clarity and freshness while the skin recovers. After sun, wind or environmental exposure, skin can feel unsettled or vulnerable. Tea Tree oil, traditionally used in skincare, works alongside aloe vera to help keep skin feeling clean, calm and supported without heaviness or greasiness. Tea Tree oil is the main active in the burn protocol used in Burn-aid and it is known for it's anti-inflammatory and soothing benefits.

Can I use this on sensitive or reactive skin?

Yes. The Skin Recovery Gel is formulated to be gentle and suitable for sensitive and reactive skin types. Ingredients like chamomile, Tasmanian pepperberry, honeysuckle and allantoin are included to support skin comfort and help calm visible redness. As with all skincare, patch testing is recommended, especially if your skin is highly reactive.

Is this only for sunburn, or can it be used daily?

It’s not just for sunburn. This gel works beautifully as a daily lightweight moisturiser for face, neck and body. It’s ideal for skin that feels dry, tight, irritated or in need of hydration, particularly in warmer weather, after shaving or waxing, or following cosmetic treatments that leave skin feeling sensitive.

Will this leave my skin sticky or oily?

No. The gel is lightweight, non-greasy and fast-absorbing. It leaves the skin feeling cool, hydrated, incredibly smooth and comfortable without residue, making it easy to layer under sunscreen or other skincare once absorbed.

What does the rollerball do? Is it hygienic?

The stainless-steel rollerball allows for no-touch, mess-free application, keeping the formula clean and reducing the need to rub sensitive skin. The cooling metal applicator enhances the soothing effect and makes it easy to apply evenly without irritating compromised or tender areas.
