Growing these native plants in Western and Eastern Australia using sustainable & regenerative farming practices, it was and is, important that we consider how this care for the environment travels through every part of our business practices.

As a company that is Australian owned and based in Australia, we try and manufacture our products in Australia too. All our products are proudly made and filled in Australia by local Australian companies, except for our coveted Micro-dart Pimple Patches which are made in South Korea as, to our knowledge, no-one here has the technology, yet.

Packaging.
Wherever possible we look for ways to use post-consumer recycled plastic, packages that are recyclable and use the minimal amount of packaging, and postage that reduces the carbon footprint.
Our Pimple Patches are packaged in individual PET trays and an outer aluminium pouch to keep them sanitised. These are both recyclable.
Recycle the box from our Forest Lungs Steam Inhalers in your council recycle bin. The inhalers need to be wrapped in plastic to prevent damage from moisture. We are looking for a better option.
Our box is made from cardboard and a biodegradable inner lining to protect the oil bottle during postage. Add the lining to your compost.
Re-use the pure oil bottles by refilling them with our refill packs (coming soon). These bespoke bottles were created with much thought and attention to detail by Australian glass designer Jasper Dowling.
Our Tea Tree Mask tube is not recyclable but has been made using 30% post-consumer plastic. It comes without a box as we are attempting to minimise unnecessary and short-lives packaging.
Our Tea Tree Whipped Cleansing Foam & our Pure Oil Spray come in aerosol cans which, YES, you can recycle! 80% of Australian's live in councils that collect aerosols for recycling. Our aerosols are made from aluminium which is infinitely recyclable in Australia.

We use an independent tech solution called ClearForMe that has a database of over 1.6 million ingredients and growing. It stores fact-based information about every ingredient we use so you can know exactly what is in our products and exactly what their purpose is. ClearForMe sources all its facts from neutral and accredited organisations including the World Health Organisation, National Institute of Health, European Commission Database, Personal Care Products Council, U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
ETTO Eucalyptus
Versus Globulus
The main naturally occurring competent of ETTO Blue Mallee (Eucalyptus polybractea) is cineole which research has demonstrated has anti-inflammatory properties. ETTO oil contains 84% cineole compared to the commonly used Eucalyptus globulus which typically only contains around 60%. The below table shows results from our latest independent lab test results indicating the level of cineole in our Blue Mallee.

Tea Tree Oil
The major bioactive component of Tea Tree Oil is Terpinen-4-ol. ETTO oil contains a high level (35 – 48%) of Terpinen-4-ol. The below table shows results from our latest independent lab test results indicating the level of Terpinen-4-ol in our Tea Tree.
